Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Panny's earns rave reviews for its exceptionally crispy batter and fresh fish, particularly the haddock, which is a local favorite. Many patrons appreciate the reasonable prices, especially with most dishes under £10. The kids' menu stands out as well, with meals like sausage and chips delighting younger diners. Friendly service adds to the charm, often leading to repeat visits from satisfied customers. Late-night food options also win customers over, ensuring Panny's is a convenient choice at any hour.

Most Disliked

Some visitors express frustration with the cash-only payment policy, as it can be inconvenient for those who prefer card transactions. Additionally, the popularity of Panny's means there can be a wait during peak times, especially on Friday nights when the restaurant reaches full capacity. While the casual atmosphere is welcoming, seating can be limited during busy hours, leading to longer waits for tables at dinner rush. A few customers have mentioned the occasional inconsistencies in portion sizes, craving a bit more on their plates for the price.

Nicest fish and chips in South Warrington. Batter (which is vitally important!) was very good! Not quite up to Yorkshire but for Warrington, top notch!

What a great & good value Fish & Chip shop, very friendly and the fish & chips were great, with the fish being freshly cooked while I waited. It was also great to see so many people ordering. Will definitely go there again.

Not been for atleast 2-3 years. Classic fish and chips to order, you can ask for your batter extra crispy, normal or thin. The chips are delicious. No wonder there are always queues outside. Slightly annoying that it is cash only, especially as there are limited cash machines now in SH. However understand with it being a small business.

*update - still as good as ever! Fresh and hot with the best crispy batter! Great value and feeds the entire family. Always our first meal here and our last before we leave. Our go to chippy whenever we are back home in the UK. Friendly staff, big portions and fresh food. Battered sausage is the bomb!
